Free Geek makes technology accessible while protecting the environment. Through device reuse, digital literacy classes, and technology support, we help underserved community members access the tools and skills needed for education, employment, and everyday life.
We advanced our objectives by connecting community members with technology, providing practical digital skills instruction, and extending the useful life of donated electronics. Olseth’s grant supported this work to reduce digital barriers and electronic waste.
Olseth’s support helped make learning opportunities like our Canva class with Latino Network possible. Participants learned to create designs and set up their new MacBook Neo laptops, pairing access to technology with hands-on instruction that builds confidence and independence.
